Hannah's story.

If you're not gonna say it, I am. Hannah's mini life-as-a-patternmaker autobiography, How I got my start, is featured on Fashion-Incubator. Way to rock it Hannah, we are all so proud of you!

Thanks Jessie! I'm a little shy about having my writing posted on a blog as well known and respected as FI, but it was a lot of fun to write up, and reminded me just how incredible and serendipitious things have been for me.

Thanks for sharing! This is really inspring. I'm moving up to NYC in a few weeks, hoping for an appreticeship with an intimate apparel patternmaker. Hopefully, the bravery of your actions will rub off on me.
P.S. I've been reading your blog for awhile. It's great and so nice to hear from other pattern people. Thank you for posting.

I can relate to your story UNTIL the part where you actually dial his number.

I'm still paralyzed, still holding my breath, still unable to make the call.

Cool story.
Nice blog.
Good luck!
