Things I need to learn

Because of my job I need to learn Adobe Suite. Susanna makes all kinds of drawings and tech packages and what not and I would be more useful to everyone if I could do some of that work for her. Susanna had a great idea to help me learn. She says I should make a booklet on how to make a dress shirt. I think its a fantastic idea. I'm going to write it for the "some but not much" sewing skill level. If anybody would like a copy when I'm done I would be happy to distribute it. just send me your address to carlymick@gmail.com or post it in the comments. I might even be able to post some pages as it goes along.

I'd love a copy as well. As a new sewer, I covet all dressmaking information. Thank you for the generous offer!

Hi , I'm a pattern maker in NYC and am always interested in how everyone does it their way, so please send me a copy of your shirt booklet.

I was just doing some shirt patterns last week and we were wondering about flat felled seam standards, for seam allowance etc.

any ideas?

I'm getting started on my shirt booklet tonight and the first part is going to be on patterning and seam allowances. I'll post it as soon as it's presentable.
